Overview
When GAIA, Belgium’s leading animal rights organization, needs to turn urgent awareness into immediate action, they trust UCAN. We designed and built high-conversion campaign landing pages that give a digital voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
1. A Lifeline for Kariba: The Journey to Freedom Kariba’s story is heartbreaking: torn from the Zimbabwean wild as a baby in 1985, she spent nearly forty years confined to European zoos. GAIA’s mission? Relocate her to an open sanctuary in Portugal to live out her remaining days in freedom. 2. NotYourMilk.be: Exposing the Dairy Industry Behind every glass of milk lies a dark reality: newborn calves separated from their mothers and confined to devastating conditions. GAIA needed a bold, uncompromised space to educate consumers.

Our Digital Solution
For the Kariba website, UCAN built a dedicated fundraising platform that honors Kariba’s history while making the donation process effortless. This way we helped GAIA mobilize the public to fund this historic, life-saving move. For the Not Your Milk campaign, we designed an educational landing page. Striking the perfect balance between shocking truths and user engagement, the site uses crisp typography and seamless scrolling animations to guide visitors through the facts, inspiring a shift toward plant-based alternatives.
